Yes, an AHA Transformer can be financed. Financing runs through all the major South African banks (ABSA, Standard Bank, FNB, WesBank, Nedbank and Capitec) and through private finance houses that do asset finance. Which route suits you depends on what you are buying and what you already own.
With a new bakkie
If you are buying a new bakkie anyway, the Transformer can be added as an extra on the vehicle finance agreement. One arrangement, settled at the same time as the vehicle.
On the A/T Trailer
The AHA A/T Trailer is financed as a trailer in its own right, with the Transformer and its fitment included in the same agreement. It has a braked axle, which means you need a Code EB licence to tow it.
On the Luggage Trailer
The AHA Luggage Trailer is unbraked, so it tows on a standard Code B licence, the one most drivers already hold. If a Code EB licence is what was standing in your way, this is the route that removes the barrier.
On the bakkie you already own
Every unit that leaves the factory carries a serial number. If your bakkie is paid for and you simply want to add a Transformer to it, a lender that lends against a movable asset already has what it needs.
Pre-owned units
A pre-owned unit can also be financed just like a new build. Ask the office and we will set it up for you.
What we can and cannot do
We are not a credit provider and we do not lend money from the factory. What we do is handle the paperwork with you: the quotation, the specification and the invoicing your bank asks for, and answers to whatever the bank wants to know about the unit itself. The agreement is between you and your lender, and we only assist with the paperwork.
